The Self Propelled Sex Machine For Suction Sex Toys
The LoveArc (aka the The LoveArc Self Propelled Sex Machine) is a smoothly manufactured aluminium frame in an arc shape, designed specifically for use with suction cup toys.
I was contacted by the LoveArc team to ask if I’d like to give it a whirl in exchange for a review and I agreed. This idea was either so simple it was ingenious, or it simply wouldn’t work and would be a disaster. Either result is insanely tempting for a sex toy reviewer. I couldn’t wait to see if this arc really worked so I said yes – and in a couple of days the most enormous box turned up at my door. Very discreet and very safely wrapped. The LoveArc was finally discovered amid layer upon layer of bubble wrap and I stood back to take in some first impressions.
It’s smooth. It’s not high-gleam polished but more of a brushed, matte shine. The central arc shape is an attractive purple while the cylindrical rests at either end are silver coloured. It looks, for all intents and purposes, just like a piece of yoga equipment. Excellent. Finally a product for review which I can transport from office to house and back again, then back to the house, leave sitting around in the kitchen or lounge if I wish, without raising any eyebrows. Unlike my fisting dildo and poo dong.
I was quite cynical about the strength of suction to this arc, but a quick test set me straight. The suction cup on a dildo secures so firmly to the arc that you can actually lift the whole thing up by the dildo alone.
The LoveArc can be used either in a traditional arc shape, with the two ends resting on the floor or a bed, or you can turn it over and the rests become handles. Suction cup sex toys can be attached to the underside of the arc, now face up, and you’ve got yourself an adult rocking horse. A fucking-horse, if you will.
I prefer to use my LoveArc the traditional way for an arc, with the ends resting on the floor. I do use it on the floor rather than on the bed because I like having a firm surface which doesn’t give. On the floor I have the reassurance of knowing the exact height of the arc at all times and just adjusting myself on the toy. My knees are on the floor and I’m able to manoeuvre as I wish. My weight on the arc does bend it slightly but not enough to cause real concern about it breaking. I can even stand on it and it doesn’t snap. I’m not sure it would take the full weight of two men or women, as shown in the graphics on site, hence giving the arc a 9 not 10. It does bend and I wouldn’t want to stand on it and jump heavily just in case.
I find putting the suction cup toy lower down behind me makes for easier use than in the central, highest part of the arc. One of the beautiful things about this product is that you can position the toy and yourself in the best place along the arc for your personal height, anatomy, etc. The metal is cold when you first hop on (chills on the inner thighs!) but quickly warms to body temperature during use. It’s another excuse to bust out the warming lubricant.
By my own measurements, the LoveArc measures 37 inches in length, either flat from handle to handle or just the arc portion itself, along the curve. The central arc has a width of 3.25 inches. The longer handle measures 14.5 inches and the shorter one is 5.75 inches. The LoveArc site advises that it weighs 3kg. It’s made of aluminium.
This isn’t the cheapest sex product by any means. It’s £169.99 but you do get lots of arc for your buck. It’s a product which doesn’t immediately scream sex, so you could even leave it about your bedroom or in a hallway (where it won’t be tripped over) without visitors passing comment. The LoveArc has a smooth finish and although it seems a simple idea, the simplest ideas are often the most ingenious. If you love using suction cup sex toys and have been struggling to find places to use them then you’ll love the LoveArc. Give the side of your bath a rest and get yourself some proper kit.
