Tantus Cush Twilight Dildo-2

Lubezilla were kind enough to recently offer me the chance to review one of the thousands of sex toys and adult products they stock on their online sex shop, free of charge, in exchange for a review. After spending an age gazing at and admiring the myriad pleasure products, gift sets, lubes and vibrators I settled on my choice. The Tantus Cush O2 Twilight dildo.

I don’t have a lot of Tantus sex toys. As a sex toy tester in the UK it can be difficult to receive US products as opposed to British or European manufactured goods. I know the shipping from the States can be slow, expensive and can even cause customs, tax or other fees to be demanded at the doorstep upon delivery. That’s if said products arrive at all. Happily, I endured none of these trials with the professional and discreet package I quickly received from Lubezilla.

The Tantus Cush O2 Twilight dildo comes housed in the instantly recognisable Tantus packaging. It’s fresh, modern, unisex and appealing. The glossy card box has product info and there are clear windows where you can see the dildo inside. The dildo itself, as you see when you open the box, is safely sat within a plastic moulded insert which keeps it safe, hygienic and dust free during storage, transit and delivery to your doorstep.

Taking the dildo out of this protective casing, it’s immediately clear that you’re holding a sex toy of incredibly high quality. The weight alone, seeing as this is a silicone toy not metal or glass, tells you that this dildo is a higher density than standard silicone sex toys. Tantus make dual density silicone sex toys.  This makes the Tantus dildo or butt plug less likely to suffer damage with even vigorous use, meaning your money goes further when you buy from the range. There’s also just something about a sex toy with a bit more weight to it. It feels more valuable somehow. Maybe irrational but there we go.

The solid feeling, heavy weight Tantus Cush O2 Twilight dildo also stands very well on its flat base. It is most definitely a flat base dildo, not a suction cup. There is enough of a ‘lip’ so that it could be used in conjunction with a strap on sex harness as well as allowing you to stand it upright to dry after cleaning or simply to adorn your bedside table between uses.

Then we come to the aesthetics. This is quite simply a beautiful product. It’s not neon pink or garish lilac. This is a delicately hued toy, with a fashionable ombré colouring. Purple at the base graduating to white at the very tip. Despite being named Twilight, you may be pleased to hear there’s not even a hint of a sparkle. Or any fangs, come to that.

For me, this is another dildo that falls in the adamantly penile category rather than definitely realistic type. There’s no testicles, for a start, and no frenulum, bulging veins, realistic skin tone or detailed penis head. As an insertable sex toy (which isn’t a butt plug) one could argue that there would always be some phallic connotation. But there is more than length and rounded tip here; Tantus Cush Twilight has a skin-like ridge half way down the shaft and just below the tip. It’s most definitely penis inspired (and who can blame it, really?).

During use, the heavier than usual weight of the Tantus Cush O2 Twilight dildo means that you can get a fantastic thrust behind it. The rounded, flat bottomed base gives you something easy to hold on to, even if you’re slicked with lube and juice. It’s a realistic size, girth and length, so it’s a very comfortable dildo to use. On top of that, the dual ridges on the shaft feel purringly sublime as I slide it in and out of my vagina. The squidgier than the shaft tip is thoughtfully peaked while not being too pointed, and the lip under the ‘head’ makes it pop satisfyingly into place.

Size wise, the Tantus Cush O2 Twilight Dildo measures 7.5 inches in overall length, with an insertable length of 7 inches and a maximum circumference of 5.9 inches. The diameter of the base is 2.5 inches across the widest part.

In summary, this is a gorgeous dildo that does justice to the fabulous reputation Tantus have, for making body safe, reliable and beautifully crafted sex toys which are an investment in pleasure.

Want to own it for yourself? You can buy the Tantus Cush O2 Twilight dildo here at Lubezilla for $65.45, which for my UK readers converts to approximately £44 (at today’s rates).
