Soft Paris is a boutique style sex toys shopping website, which also offers people the chance to become a representative and host home sex toy parties and make some money. The website has a very feminine feel and has a strong French influence which appeals to me personally.

I was recently sent a few items by Soft Paris, free of charge in exchange for fair and honest reviews. Everything was sent fast and discreetly, with a professional flair. The items I received are:

The ‘Belle de Nuit’ Fuchsia Silicone Rechargeable Vibrator (priced at £50) review here

The ‘Miss’ Fuchsia Silicone Bullet Vibrator (priced at £26) review here

The ‘Indécente’ Créme Brulée Intimate Arousal Cream (priced at £28)

All the Soft Paris items I received are presented in a soft touch matte card box which has been thoughtfully designed to complement the French influence of the business. The boxes wouldn’t look out of place in any elegant women’s boutique, and are a million miles away from the neon backed, topless and hairy pussy model boxes which comprised the sex toy packaging in many of the high street private shops of the 80s and 90s.

Fragranced with the scent of what must be one of my top three favourite desserts (along with Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee Pudding), the Creme Brulee intimate arousal cream from Soft Paris had my attention as soon as I read the gorgeous looking box. At first glance, you could almost imagine that this box contained an expensive perfume, and wouldn’t look out of place on any dressing table or bedside cabinet.

The ‘Indécente’ intimate arousal cream states that it can be used to stimulate any of the erogenous zones, but the term ‘intimate’ does lead my mind directly to the clitoral area. Hey, it doesn’t take much.

The bottle is safely held within the outer box by a moulded plastic insert, opening in two halves to reveal the glass pump dispenser bottle with pop off cap. There’s 15 ml of the ivory coloured cream contained in the bottle. The pump dispenser has a petite tube and nozzle, meaning you don’t dispense more than you need in a squirt. Little more than a dot each time, so you don’t waste any.

Once I rubbed the ‘Indécente’ intimate arousal cream on to my clitoris, it didn’t take long for the tingling to start. Just a few seconds in fact. It wasn’t overwhelming, like the fire of some warming arousal gels and creams, nor was it the Arctic ice of the menthol enhanced variants (although this cream does include menthol, but apparently only enough to induce tingling not an icy burn – in me, anyway). Read my flavoured lubes and special effects gels reviews here.

From the leaflet enclosed in the box (which sadly didn’t contain an English section, but I did the best I could) I could make out that this cream contains pheromones and ginseng. The full ingredients are labelled on the box.

Ingredients: Aqua (water), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil, Polysorbate 60, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter, Menthol, Lactic Acid, Aroma, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Saccharin, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba Gum, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, CI 19140, CI 16035.

There are a couple of words in there which may cause you concern if you have a sensitive vagina. Glycerin can cause irritation in the vaginal area for some women, leading to the possibility of thrush and the like. If this is you, you may be best off avoiding this one. There is also menthol – so avoid if you don’t like menthol products, and there’s a couple of mentions of parabens.

The ingredients didn’t put me off and after using it (clitorally) I didn’t have any adverse effects. You can also, of course, use this cream on your nipples if you wish – but after trying that out I realised I preferred this cream clitorally, it just felt more effective there.

I felt a definite tingle when using this cream on my clitoris, which did lead to increased arousal. Of course this starts off naturally anyway when rubbing a creamy lotion on to a suddenly interested clit! I would recommend this cream if a woman has difficulty becoming aroused, although I would hesitate to state that it’s a cure-all if you have libido problems. For me, it added a gentle, unobtrusive tingle which was pleasant. The bottle is discreet and would easily fit in amongst bedside or bathroom items, or could be carried in a handbag on naughty nights out.

If you’d like to try the ‘Indécente’ intimate arousal cream, you can buy it here at Soft Paris for £28.
