Nexus Bisous Rabbit Vibrator Review Professional Photos

I received the Nexus Femme Bisous to test and review when I visited the Nexus stand at the recent eroFame adult industry expo, in Hannover Germany. This rabbit vibrator is different to all rabbit vibrators that have gone before, as it has a rotating tip instead of merely vibrating.

At the moment, the Bisous is only available in pink; however, it’s not the gaudy, neon pink which is so often seen on lower quality sex toys. Echoing the luxurious brocade pattern of the outer box, the dusky rose colour is reminiscent of LELO sex toys. In addition, the soft, velvet touch silicone of the Bisous body is comfortable to hold in your hand, and glides against your skin smoothly.

Let’s take a look at the Bisous experience from the start.

As stated, there is a dusky rose pattern to the glossy card outer sleeve. This boasts the Nexus Femme and Bisous logos, clearly describing the product as a dual stimulator. It’s a nice way of saying rabbit vibe! On the side of the sleeve there are a few details about the product.

  • The head has two rotation speeds
  • There are 6 vibration settings
  • This product is USB rechargeable
  • 2 hours of charge gives you 4 hours of play
  • It’s made from premium, phthalate free silicone
  • The Nexus Femme Bisous is splashproof

The back of the sleeve has a picture of the product, as well as taglines and a mini description. As ‘Bisous’ means ‘kisses’ in French, the tagline is dedicated to remembering your first kiss, appropriately enough. Romantic, teasing, playful.

Sliding this glossy card sleeve from the main box, you reveal a black, magnetic closure lidded box which looks almost like a jewellery box. The lid once again features the Nexus Femme and Bisous logos. Open the lid to find the Bisous rabbit vibrator, sat within a black, shaped insert. Underneath this are located the instruction manual and pink USB charging lead, as well as a very generously sized, black storage pouch with soft outer and satin lined inner so your Bisous gets no fluff or colour dye transferred to it. This storage bag has matching pink drawstring ties with metallic toggles and features the Nexus Femme logo stitched tag to the side of the bag.

The Nexus Femme Bisous is simple but effective in both form and function. The almost S shaped body has a tip which dramatically curves for G-spot massage and stimulation, while the longer-than-usual clitoral stimulator has a more sleek design than the cheaper rabbit style ‘split ears’. The long, rounded clitoral stimulator is quite firm, probably due to the motor within this area, while the base of this part  – where it attaches to the rest of the rabbit – is flexible so it moves whichever way you please. This ensure your complete comfort during use, no matter your personal body shape.

The insertable shaft tip is tapered and rounded, with a bulge before you reach the tip, for maximum satisfaction vaginally. Inside there seems to be a ball joint style mechanism, which is evident during use. The tip rotates powerfully. Even when I clamp my hand down around the end, the tip still rotates powerfully, without fear of the rabbit vibe breaking or any damage to the Bisous.

So before use, I charged up my Bisous. 2 hours gives a 4 hour playtime, and you simply insert one end of the charging lead into the port under the silicone, Nexus branded flap at the Bisous base, and the USB end goes into whichever USB port you’d like to charge from. Nexus state that all Bisous rabbit vibes come fully charged, but I like to make sure. Just a me thing!

While the Bisous is charging, the power button has a red LED light up function. When it’s ready, all buttons have a white LED light up function.

Once the Nexus Bisous was charged, I was ready to go. It’s quite clear how you operate the Bisous, there’s a large power button on the handle, above which are two other buttons. One of these controls the rotational speed of the tip, while the other controls the 6 vibrating settings of the motor in the clitoral stimulating area. If you hold down either of the rotation/vibration buttons during use, it switches off that function so you can enjoy the other feature independently. So you can enjoy the rotational tip without the clit stim vibration, or enjoy the clit stim vibration without the tip rotation.

The 6 vibrating settings of the clit stim are described as follows:

  1. Low constant vibration
  2. Medium constant vibration
  3. High constant vibration
  4. Standard pulse vibration
  5. Long dash pulse vibration
  6. Ascending vibration

My favourite, as usual, is the high constant vibration, as I’m obviously rather boring (read: power queen)! Combined with the swirly rotation of the tip, the fast vibration against the clitoris is indeed, very orgasmic. Eventually. This is by no means a fast route to orgasm for me, as the inner rotation sensation is one of being caressed. The name Bisous is very appropriate here, as rather than a quick, hard thrust, this rabbit vibrator holds a softer, more feminine appeal. For those who enjoy building the atmosphere and are looking for a sensual experience, the Bisous will not disappoint. It also comes with a one year warranty!

Does the Nexus Bisous work? Yes. It’s not just an orgasm provider, it strokes and massages you to bliss. The clitoral stimulator attends to that area of nerve endings while the sumptuous silicone material glides smoothly inside, with the aid of some waterbased lubricant.

My only concerns for this product is that it’s not fully waterproof at this stage, and it’s quite costly at £120. However, for the woman wanting a bedside companion that gives its all for her pleasure, the Nexus Femme Bisous is ready and waiting.
