Island Heat Rabbit Waterproof G-Spot Rabbit Vibrator Review

The Island Heat Rabbit Vibrator was received as part of a bundle of sex toys to test and review from Simply Pleasure. I was quite surprised to be sent a pink, jelly looking rabbit vibe to test, as I am not really a fan of pink toys, rabbits, or this translucent jelly material. In fact, I have been debating whether to review it at all, but I just had to give my feedback on this one.

The Island Heat Rabbit Vibrator comes in a transparent plastic box, within which the item itself is sat in a plastic moulded insert. When you open the packet you discover that the rabbit vibe is also wrapped in a shrink wrap, probably to stop any dust attaching to the surface of the toy, or damage happening to the jelly style material.

It’s made by Seven Creations and this range tends towards the more traditional styles of sex toys, with budget to mid range prices and adequate materials and functions but by no means top end or luxury. The Island Heat Rabbit is no exception to the rule. Made from TPE and with an ABS plastic handle, this isn’t a toy designed to last for years.

One good thing about the material translucency is that you can see the inner workings of the rabbit vibrator, similar to clockwork with more mini bullets and wires. Less cogs. The box really didn’t even need to state that there’s dual motors in this thing, you can clearly see them; a larger one in the tip and a smaller one in the clitoral stimulator. Both bullets are wired to the battery compartment which you can also see clearly. Not very sexy really, but I guess you won’t be admiring its beauty when it’s “up yer chuff”.

The rabbit is smaller than you’d think. The total length is 6.25 inches with an insertable length of just 3.25 inches. If you’re looking for a huge dong to ride, this isn’t gonna satisfy. The tip has a bit of angling to it, nothing too dramatic, which is meant to help point towards your G-spot and stimulate it once you have the main shaft inside your vagina.

The clitoral stimulator is the traditional rabbit vibrator type, with a rabbit face style and two quite short ears, which are designed to flicker against your clitoris during use, in sync with the main shaft.

There is one main button to power up the Island Heat Rabbit Vibrator, scroll through the 7 functions and turn it off. You can press and hold to switch off from any of the function levels, or the 8th press is also the off function.

The 7 functions as I would describe them are:

  1. Low, constant vibration
  2. Medium
  3. High
  4. Ascending vibration & repeat
  5. Dash-dash-dash pulse
  6. Faster dash-dash-dash pulse
  7. Dot dot-dot-dash pulse

There is no option to power the dual motors separately, they are both operated by whichever function you select.

One plus point of the Island Heat Rabbit Vibrator is that it’s waterproof. This makes cleaning it completely hassle-free, as well as of course opening up the options to use it in the bath or shower.

It doesn’t take as many batteries as other rabbit vibrators either, just 2 AAA as opposed to the handful of AA batteries some of the larger rabbit vibrator models take. It’s also light to hold in the hand, whereas traditional rabbit vibrators tend to be on the heavy and unwieldy side.

Please note that the box states 2 AA batteries are required, when in fact it’s 2 AAA batteries that this rabbit vibrator takes.

I’ll be honest with you, now that the main details are covered: I don’t like this sex toy. It’s that awful pink which screams of cheap sex toys, it’s made of TPE which is basically a jelly material and smells like it, and I need to wash my hands after I’ve touched it. There was basically no way I was sticking this inside my body, I feel like I need some surgical gloves on just to handle the thing. Perhaps if you wish to gain some super powers overnight, you could try riding this rabbit. You might wake up with a super magnetic vagina or a glow in the dark clitoris. Who knows. I’d rather not risk it, personally.

The power of the vibe is ok… when the batteries are brand new. The top speed of constant vibration is pretty darn buzzy. That shrill, high frequency buzz, not a deep, thuddy vibration. Although the lower levels of vibration are quite quiet, the top speed sounds like you’re microwaving something. I’m sure the noise would diffuse underwater.

The jelly material… there are almost no words. However, I always have some words. It’s awful. I haven’t had a sex toy made from this material for quite some time. It’s the kind that you can easily tear by digging your nails into it, which would not only damage the toy but would make it unhygienic. Pretty certain that TPE is porous too, making it difficult to get rid of any bacteria after use, even with a thorough wash and use of an anti-bacterial sex toy cleaner.

I feel like I have been a very naughty sex toy reviewer not sticking this in my bits, but I do quite value my sexual health. It was either this or no review at all. You can find a short video below with my thoughts about the product. I ranted so much I ran out of phone space…

If you fancy a see through, jelly feel, battery operated, pretty disposable rabbit vibrator (it’s waterproof!) then give the Island Heat Rabbit Vibe a try. It’s priced at a whopping £29.99. In my opinion you should save up and get a Swan instead, those things are really amazing.

I’m going to wash my hands.
