Lovehoney Dream G Spot Rabbit Vibrator

Review by Red Vs Blue from Hella Rude

Red Vs Blue 600 LogoThere are literally hundreds of rabbit vibrators on the market, and each one has a slightly different shape, size and operation. In this review, Red Vs Blue test drive the Lovehoney Dream G Spot Rabbit Vibrator [formerly known as the Lovehoney Oh! G Spot Rabbit] to find out if it lives up to its claims.

“Oh, oh, oh! Experience powerful clitoral and G-spot stimulation with Lovehoney’s Oh! Rabbit: this waterproof vibrator brims with delectable vibration functions, a precisely angled tip to hit all of your pleasure-spots and a wonderfully smooth silicone shaft.”

BLUE SAYS

It is only since meeting Red I have truly experienced the G-spot orgasm. We were fooling around one evening when one thing lead to another, and suddenly I felt myself sitting in a puddle of my own ejaculate in blissful bewilderment. Since then, Red has increased his skills with great enthusiasm, and on a good day can take me from zero to gibbering mess in minutes. However, occasionally my vag just isn’t playing ball, and it’s these times when we’ve wished we had something in our underbed arsenal to help.

After trawling pages of reviews, I decided to order the Lovehoney Dream G Spot Rabbit Vibrator – my first G-spot vibe as well as being my first rabbit. The curvy design looks great in white plastic and lilac silicone, somewhere between an Apple peripheral and a jelly sweet. The buttons are nicely responsive, controlling the rabbit vibrations and the shaft independently. The rotating metal balls feel strong enough in the hand but weren’t quite up to the task when used internally – the contractions of my vaginal muscles caused the thing to groan and slow down much to my dismay. The result was a fairly agreeable background sensation, but nothing to write home about (if you were the sort of person to write home about such things). Similarly the head of the vibe was nowhere near solid enough to provide any real sensation, even with Red pushing down from the outside with the flat of his hand.

The rabbit ears have some serious power behind them, but sadly I found them a bit ‘flicky’ and borderline painful, especially at higher speeds. The only way I managed to really enjoy this toy was by flipping the whole thing over and using the rabbit part on it’s own with the ears pointing away, while Red provided G-spot stimulation with his fingers. The product does suggest you can use the rabbit alone in this way, but I imagine this is for those who don’t want the internal stimulation rather than those who find the shaft so underwhelming they’d prefer their partners fingers. Although I did get a long and satisfying blended orgasm eventually – it wasn’t anything I couldn’t have achieved with a combination of more efficient toys.

RED SAYS

I have always enjoyed treating Blue to some G-Spot stimulation, even if a large amount of that pleasure may come in the form of an ego boost for myself. It was my suggestion to start playing with vibrators in the hope of providing something more full on than my forearm stamina can provide. So I was very excited to see what the infamous rabbit could do.

After I managed to get over giggling at how it moves when you hold the tip and turn the oscillation setting up to watch it wiggle, we set to work seeing what it could do. I was well aware that my role in the proceedings would be little more than a dildo stand and braced myself to sit back and watch the lady get on with it. I don’t know if it’s just our expectations were wrong or if we have too much experience of doing the whole thing with a bit more hutzpah, but it didn’t live up to our expectations. We gave the rabbit head vibrator a quick go on me, and it felt good, but was wasn’t able to do anything more than lightly tickle –  but obviously that’s not what it’s designed for. This isn’t meant to be a couples toy and that’s cool, so we will be sticking with the more hands on approach when together for now.

WE SAY

Overall we’re pretty disappointed with this toy. Blue did not come anywhere close to the coveted G-spot orgasm with it, although we acknowledge this may be largely down to her petite anatomy. The head of the vibe didn’t really do much for her A-spot either, being far too soft for her tastes (her favourite dildo is actually the Icicles No 24 Tentacle glass dildo). We don’t want to say this is an inherently bad toy, because it isn’t, but sadly just didn’t do it for us. If your G-spot is 3+ inches deep you may enjoy this, as well as if you’re new to dual stimulation. Pros, petites and the power-hungry may want to try something else.

We give the Lovehoney Dream G Spot Rabbit Vibrator 5/10.
