Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator Review

I received my Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator as a freebie for having spent a certain amount of money on other items – I can’t remember exactly how much as it was a while ago, as you can see from the wear on the printing on the shaft in the pictures.
I thought of it as a bit of a throwaway item really, not expecting it would be any good if I’m honest. When it arrived we played with the other toys we had bought first but one day when I was alone and horny, I decided to give the little fella a go.
First – the stats. The Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator is 5’’ in length, with an insertable length of 2.5’’ and a circumference of 3.5’’. It is made of a rigid plastic, is latex and free from phthalates. It is not claimed to be waterproof but I have never found any problems cleaning it, as long as I have been careful. It is easily cleaned with a damp soapy cloth.
It is small, discreet and easy enough to have in a weekend bag to even our handbag,
It is powered by a single AA battery (not included) and is switched on by simply turning the body where indicated. It is single speed.
So how did I fare with the Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator?
Well the first time I tried it I wasn’t (and to be honest still aren’t) very impressed with it as a G-Spot vibe. I think it’s more my anatomy than the vibe itself but I find it just doesn’t hit my G-Spot. Having said that with a little lube its not unpleasant being used like a classic vibe to get the juices flowing.
Where it really comes in to it’s own for me, is when it’s used as a clitoral vibe. The rounded tip is perfect to buzz away around and on my clit and I have had many an orgasm headache inducing cum when using the Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator when masturbating with it on my clit.
We have also tried the vibe as a couple, which has been good but in a way I prefer to use the vibe as my own little gem, a little tool of pleasure in a busy day.
Although the Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator is single speed, it more than passes my vibe test – that being, if I put it on my nose and my nose itches, then it’s going to be fun to use and this certainly is.
The highest praise I can give this that I would buy another if mine should ever break, although I’ve had mine for a couple of years now without any problem – well until I said that, so Lovehoney had better continue selling them.
As a G-Spot Vibe I would give this a 6/10 but as I have said, I think that is more to do with me than the actual vibe itself. However, as a clit vibe I would give it a 9/10, one mark being deducted because it can get a little slippery at times being made from plastic.
I think the Lovehoney Basics Mini G-Spot Vibrator is a great little inexpensive addition to a toy box.
