Why did you call yourself ‘Cara Sutra’?

Cara isn’t my real name. I chose the name Cara after a character in the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. These books later came to be the basis of the TV series Legend of the Seeker which has now sadly been cancelled. Cara was one of the Mord’Sith, a group of warrior style women that can use people’s magic against them and enslave them to their will, also using force.

Later on I became an erotic blogger online in my spare time, as well as a sex toys affiliate. In line with this I chose the name Cara Sutra, after the famous Kama Sutra, the renowned sex positions guide.

The name has stuck!
